“botanica obscura #4″ by Kelly Angard
i wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
I feel my fate in what I cannot fear.
I learn by going where I have to go.
We think by feeling. What is there to know?
I hear my being dance from ear to ear.
I wake to sleep, and take my waking slow.
- excerpt from “The Waking” by Theodore Roethke
He has stolen my heart.
Jackson Henry Heisenberg, 14 weeks old
sigh no more, no more
one foot in sea and one on shore
my heart was never pure
and you know me
you know me.
lyrics from “Sigh No More” by Mumford and Sons
original line from Shakespeare’s, “Much Ado About Nothing”
A new pup has joined our family…Jackson Henry Heisenberg. We got him from the Dumb Friends League (local shelter) a few weeks ago…I simply could not resist those blue eyes!!!
Jackson is a cardigan welsh corgi mix…not completely sure what he’s “mixed” with…we’re thinking husky? Nonetheless, he is so much fun and is keeping me very, very busy…it’s been a long time since I’ve had a puppy in the house, under my feet and biting my ankles!
…I know I’ve dreamed you a sin and a lie
I have my freedom but I don’t have much time
Faith has been broken tears must be cried
Let’s do some living after we die
Wild horses, couldn’t drag me away
Wild wild horses we’ll ride them someday…
- song by Susan Boyle; original lyrics by The Rolling Stones

- Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
