I just wanted to tell you that your work is stunning. I got your link from “All Things Girl”. You’re really talented. I wish I could push my art forward as much as I’ve pushing my writing, but you seem to have no problems on the art side. Congrats on the talent and keep it going.

    patatina…thanks so much!

ademc…thank you, for your comment and for wondering about how this pieces relates to the theme “wired”. because my art is usually conceptual in nature, the tie to a theme is usually hidden within it’s layers. in this piece, what inspired this piece was how we as human beings are wired to compete…to win; probably goes back to an innate drive, i.e. “survival of the fittest”. what we don’t consider many times is that there is always a price to pay in our quest to “win” as well as a moral choice which hangs in the balance, i.e., loss of human life, destroying the earth, killing off of species, etc.

    greg hartman…thank you, greg!

ronnihall…thanks so much ronni! i love creating layers…layers of meaning and color! my book is full of techniques for every kind of artist!

laala…thank you so much, laala. i encourage you to push your art and keep enjoying your writing, too! all creative endeavors are worth working at…hugs!
