Spring always inspires me…the season symbolic for new beginnings and regeneration. In that light, I’ve decided to embark on a new journey that has been mulling around in my mind for over a year now…“Creating Without Fear™”. Being a self-taught artist, I’ve had to find ways to work through a myriad of fears when it comes to creating and living my life as an artist. This theme of combatting our creative fears runs throughout my book, Creative Collage and I’ve written quite a few posts speaking to this theme over the past year:
Creating Without Fear a.k.a. Getting Out of Your Own Way
Do You Give Yourself Enough Credit?
The Art of Crafting Your Life
Live to Learn and Learn to Live
So I’ve decided to expand on this topic and take a new direction with my Technique Tuesdays. Instead of teaching creative art techniques every week, I’m taking a closer look at something I think we all deal with at one time or another in our creative lives…fear. If you are looking for ways to combat the variety of fears that rise up in us when it comes to facing and creating on the blank page, canvas or cardstock, join me every Tuesday for “Adventures in Creating Without Fear™” on my other site Creative Collage.
