Creative High-Contrast Layouts

“be” created by Staci Etheridge

I love finding artists who are risk-takers…those who step outside the safe box when it comes to creativity and are willing to do something different than everyone else is doing. One such artist I’ve had the pleasure to find is Staci Etheridge. The scrapbook layouts featured here are just a few examples of this talented artists’ unique vision and creative voice…as well as her wonderfully effective use of high-contrast images!

Staci’s layouts demonstrate how versatile high-contrast images (see Technique Tuesday for How-to) are for scrapbook layouts…whether pairing the bold graphic look with elegant patterned papers (“Mature”), surrounding a beautiful self-portrait with creative journaling and doodling (“Change a Thing”) or adding the effect to a color photo (“One of the Big Reasons”), Staci does a great job of creating a unique look that’s all her own!
