Wishing You a Prosperous New Year!!!

So what tops the list of your 2006 Resolutions? play more, work less? stay on a budget? make money doing what you love? If you’re thinking about creating a layout of your aspirations and goals for the year ahead, how about adding a little symbolic fun to your personal thoughts?

Hasbro, the makers of Monopoly, provides free PDF files of Monopoly money to download, print out and trim to size…Which of course, got my mind thinking…okay, how cute would this be on a scrap page???

With the popularity of pop-art images returning to the forefront of design, create a unique embellishment that shows the signs of the times like the simple one I made as part of a Pop-Art Inspiration Board for my book (see photo below)…or scatter a few dollars on cardstock to create an ecelectic background.
Be creative…layouts for a child’s allowance, family fun night or shopping spree with the girls are great themes to pair with the fun, colorful money.

Think “prosperous” for all areas of your life…is this a great way to start out the New Year, or what…? May your New Year be filled with all that you desire!

Happy New Years, Kelly! Oh, and yes, I did get tix to INXS in Vegas when they first were released. If you want to go, I’d check ebay! Hope to see you there.

Another great idea Kelly! I’ve created a layout with Life game pieces before but only because it was about a family game day where we were actually playing the game of LIFE. Now I want to do one just for fun!

Off to check out Shimelle’s Ribbon suggestions… I so badly wanted to take her class at CK and it was full – I loved her other class though!!

    Happy New Year to you!!!
