art journal page…Technique Tuesday

“in the middle of difficulty”
The fear and anxiety is always there when it comes to creating something new…sometimes it’s subtle and easy to step around or laugh at. But other times, it roars so loud I am frozen with fear and unable to even decide what type of paper I want to work with. It takes such work to not wander down the familiar trail which leads to the heart of darkness…

This week’s Technique Tuesday is a basic masking technique used to alter a photo; check out the details on my Creative Collage blog.

I keep coming back to this post, and the art journal page. The images and the journaling literally haunts me. So well said, and the image of you is so beautiful. And the phrase, “in the middle of difficulty” is so ripe with journaling potential — it could go so many ways. Thanks so much for sharing this, and for your continued inspiration.
